Memorial day is not only the day of taking rest and like other just a lazy day off, actually this is day has its history and meaning of sacrifices for their country and their happiness. There is a various dispute in the exact origin of Memorial day; some people say that there is more than two dozen of cities and towns which are the real viewer of revolution for the country and countrymen. The first Memorial Day in April 1865, People gathered in that particular place and properly cremated those soldiers who died while in the Civil War. There are more than 257 soldiers who died in this war while some are still unknown from the National respect. After gathering those people are digging up they, interred the bodies in individual graves. After that, the lines which are written in the graveyard are the "Martyrs of the Race Course."

Firstly, when this day was started celebrations some people make an objection about that this would not be the officially holiday on this day. People started to wearing red poppies as the epitome of Memorial day which is start near about to 1915 in the honor of those American soldiers who died during this Civil War. Some women at which began selling red poppy in honor of the American soldiers who gave up their lives for their country. She did this because she wanted to make this flower as the epitome, and she successful in doing so. At the beginning of 1921, this flower became famous as the emblem of Memorial Day.
